We have just launched our definitions page. Over the next few weeks we will be producing one new definition a day. If you ever need help understanding key terms that are weightlifting or fitness related, check out our definitions page first.

The first few definitions will be weightlifting related exercises, but the terms will soon be expanded to a wide range of training related words and phrases. Feel free to comment on the terms as you see fit.

Happy Holidays

This is a time of the year to be spent with family. I’ll put up a post later in the week. For now you should probably get off the internet and spend some quality time with your fellow present givers, or at least a barbell.

Thank You Veterans

Friday is Hero WOD day but it is especially poignant on this veterans day. So today I did Bradshaw. It was rough but I really enjoyed it. The WOD was 10 Rounds of, 3 handstand push-ups, 6 deadlifts, 225#, 12 pull-ups, 24 double-unders.

Hero WOD’s are usually heavy, extra hard, and don’t have any optional scaling built in. In the end, it’s a reminder of an individual as well as a group of brave individuals who hav helped in efforts to keep us all safe. in the past and present.

So here’s to all heroes and veterans past and present, thank you for all that you’ve done.

Looking Ahead

It’s been a busy week for me so there won’t be a longer post today, although I may have one up later in the week. Stay tuned for some exciting new events coming up in the next month or so including the first Weightlifting meet at Trinity College and the New England Championships. I will post full meet reports for both of those events as soon as they happen.
